The Health Systems Trust (HST) seeks to appoint a CCMDD Co-ordinator to support the implementation, scale-up, optimisation, and sustainability of the CCMDD Programme. This role forms part of the national co-ordination of CCMDD under the Gates Foundation-funded programme. The positions will be based in Gauteng. The co-ordinator will provide technical leadership, co-ordination, and oversight to ensure effective co-ordination of the CCMDD programme across provinces, districts and public health facilities. The CCMDD Co-ordinator will work closely with Department of Health (DoH) at National and Provincial levels, facility staff, private sector partners, District Support Partners (DSPs), and the SyNCH Helpdesk to strengthen capacity, improve CCMDD adoption, and drive performance. This is a 12-month fixed-term contract position, renewable based on funding and performance.

Senior Regulatory Compliance Specialist

The Health Systems Trust (HST) is hiring a Senior Regulatory Compliance Specialist (SRCS), to support the work of Principal Investigators (PIs) from South Africa and the United States who hold a faculty position at the Ragon Institute of MGB, MIT and Harvard, USA. The successful candidate will work closely with the PIs to manage the regulatory requirement of their human subjects research conducted in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa. Clinical studies are conducted 20 minutes south of Durban at the HST project site, FRESH, which is an established clinical research platform. Basic science investigations are conducted at laboratories at the University of KwaZulu-Natal, Nelson Mandela School of Medicine at the HIV Pathogenesis Programme (HPP) and the African Health Research Institute (AHRI). It is the role of the SRCS to ensure that all research activities are conducted in full compliance with regulatory requirements, ethical standards, Good Clinical Practice (GCP), sponsor guidelines, and institutional policies. The research includes clinical trials, clinical and socio-behavioural studies, and secondary use of biological specimens and data. The SRCS will report to the Ragon’s Regulatory Compliance Programme Director. This is a 12-month fixed-term contract position, renewable based on funding.

This role forms part of the national SyNCH Scale-Up and Integration initiative under the BMGF-funded programme, supporting digital health transformation at district level. The positions will be based in the Eastern Cape Province, Buffalo City district. The co-ordinator will provide technical leadership, co-ordination, and oversight to ensure effective implementation, integration, and utilisation of SyNCH and related digital health systems across facilities, sub-districts, and hospitals. The SyNCH District Co-ordinator will work closely with Department of Health (DoH) District Management Teams, facility staff, ICT units, DSPs, and the SyNCH Helpdesk to strengthen digital capacity, improve system adoption, and drive performance. These are fixed-term contract positions renewable based on performance and funding.
